What is SM Scholarship Program?
The SM Scholarship Program is offered by the SM Foundation, Inc. It is a social responsibility program by the SM Group, founded by Mr.Henry Sy Sr. Over the past two decades, the SM Foundation has provided College scholarships and perks to worthy students, allowing them to fulfill their educational aspirations without financial stress.
The SM Scholarship is a financial aid program designed to assist impoverished Filipino students pursuing education in specific professions such as engineering and information technology at partner schools around the country.
Requirements to Apply?
To apply for the SM Scholarship Program, You must meet the following requirements
- Must be Grade 12 graduates from Public and Private Schools in the area covered.
- Those who attend private Schools must have a public high school.
- GWA-General Weighted Average must be at least 92% or its equivalent for Grade 12 first semester.
- The total Family income shall not exceed ₱250,000.
- Must plan to enroll in any bachelor’s degree program in the following fields:
- Business, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering and information technology courses.

Documentary Requirements
Prepare the necessary documents to apply for the SM Scholarship Program:
- Successfully completed online application
- Birth Certificate
- Latest Garde 12 Report Card
- Two (2) copies of 2×2 ID Pictures.
- Sketch of dwelling to the nearest SM MAll.
- Tax Return for Parents or Guardians
- Certificate of Non-Filling of income Tax or
- Certificate of Indigency or
- Recent Pay Slips
