The DOST JLSS Scholarship 2026 (Junior Level Science Scholarship) is currently open to all qualified college student for academic year 2026 to 2027.
DOST JLSS Scholarship Program provides Scholarship to brilliant and worthy college students pursuing degrees program in science and technology.

What is DOST JLSS Scholarship?
The Junior Level Science Scholarships (JLSS) is a Government Scholarship program made for students who are currently in their Second Year (2nd Year) College and enter third year (3rd) in the Academic year 2026-2027.
It offers financial assistance to it’s brilliant and worthy college students pursuing degrees in Science and technology (S&T) field in order to ensure trained workers in these field for national development purpose.
Requirement to Apply
To apply for the DOST JLSS Scholarship Program, Please fulfill the requirements outlined below:
- Must be Natural-Born Filipino Citizen.
- Regular second-year college students enrolled in any DOST-SEI Priority (S&T) Course.
- Must have a GWA-General Weighted Average of at least 83% or Comparable, with no failing grades from the first semester
- Must have good moral character and good health.
- Total Family income shall not exceed the set cut-off values.

Scholarship Benefits
Here are the list of Benefits under the Scholarship Program:
- Tuition and other school fees – ₱40,000.00 / year,
- Learning Material +Connectivity Allowance – ₱10,000.00 / year,
- Monthly Living Allowances – ₱7,000.00 / month,
- Transportation Allowance – 1 economy-class roundtrip fare,
- Group Health and Accident Insurance Premium,
- Thesis Allowance – ₱10,000.00 and
- Graduation Allowance – ₱1,000.00
Summer Allowance
- Tuition and other School fees – ₱10,000.00,
- Learning Material and/or Connectivity Allowance – ₱2,000.00 and
- Monthly Living Allowance – ₱7,000.00 for 2 months

The entire application process is completed online: you are not required to send physical documents to DOST offices.

FAQS (People Also Ask)
The GWA (General Weighted Average) must be at least 85% or comparable, with no failing marks from the first semester.
